National Resources

Gaylesta: Directory with LGBTQIA+ identifying therapists. It has lots of filters to find a therapist, such as the therapist's racial and gender identity, the issues they specialize in, and the approaches they use. 

LGBTQ+ Healthcare Directory: Directory of LGBTQIA+ healthcare professionals, including therapists. It has many filters for selecting a therapist and also has a section specifically for finding providers who are educated in trauma-informed care. 

Pink Therapy: Another directory of LGBTQIA+ therapists. However, it has even more filters, including the ability to filter for specific sexual orientations and use keywords for desired characteristics not specified by the filters. 

 

San Francisco Bay Area Resources

Queer Life Space: Clinic in San Francisco offering sliding scale LGBTQIA+ friendly therapy starting at $30 a session. They also offer telehealth services for the entire state of California. 

SF BACC:  An organization based in the Bay Area that provides sliding scale therapy. They do not have any information dedicated specifically to LGBTQIA+ issues. However, they mention that they have experience with working with diverse clients, including sexual and gender minorities.
